  • hudosn Bay Company had more rules for tradeing furs that made it difficult
  • The Hudson Bay Company owned one third of canada so they had more animals on there land


The North West Company

  • NWC was open for barganing and would trade alcahol
  • The NWC was next to the river so it was easyer for the natives to get to them, rivers and lakes were helpful because it was easyer and faster to travel, natives would rather travel on lake or river
